The New York HUT is required for carriers that will operate in the state of New York at a GVW of 18,000 pounds or more.

We will set up your NY HUT account for temporary registration that will turn into a permanent registration. Once the New York HUT account is set up you must complete quarterly reports for the state.

• You will receive your temporary registration within 48 hours of your MC/DOT number going active.
• We will contact you when it is time to renew.
